Shubman Gill Wont Be Part Of Indias T20i Series Vs Bangladesh Heres Why

Shubman Gill ruled out of India's T20I series vs Bangladesh

The in-form opener had sustained a shin injury during the recently concluded ODI series against the visitors

Gill will miss the three-match T20I series, which begins on November 3 in Delhi.

Team India has suffered a setback ahead of their upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, as in-form opener Shubman Gill has been ruled out due to injury. Gill, who has been in scintillating form in recent times, sustained a shin injury during the third and final ODI against Bangladesh in Chattogram on Saturday.

The extent of Gill's injury is not yet clear, but the BCCI has confirmed that he will not be available for the three-match T20I series, which begins on November 3 in Delhi. Gill's absence is a big blow to India's T20I squad, as he has been one of their most consistent performers in the format over the past year.

In Gill's absence, India are likely to open the batting with Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul. Kishan has been in good form in recent times, while Rahul is also a proven performer at the international level. However, Gill's absence will be a major loss for India, as he is one of the most promising young batsmen in the world.
